Description:

In this class students will learn the process for developing a sculpture from concept (idea) to finished piece prior to firing. The student will select his/her subject and bring a picture of the subject to class to use as a model. "Form" and "vision" (being able to see) will be discussed as they apply to life and sculpting. Students will discover the characteristics that create form in their chosen image: head, face, figure or animal. 

Materials:

Basic clay tools
Clay = contact instructor for guidance
