Description:

Students will design, assemble and carve a decorative round ball approximately the size of a softball.  This class will increase students' skill level in attaching molded pieces, carving with tools, and manipulating clay with fingers.  At least one carved ball will be created in class.  Bisque firing and glazing will be on your own.
 Materials:

• Approximately 3 pounds of B-Mix clay (sufficient for two carved balls)
• Carving tools
• Typical hand-building tools

Class Information:

• Skill Level/Prerequisites:  Intermediate, Basic Clay and some experience with clay
• Minimum Number of Students:  3
• Maximum Number of Students:  6
