Basic Glazing

Description:
Learn the basics of glazing bisque ware, techniques and some of the do's and don'ts.  Both dipping and brushing glazes will be demonstrated.  You will also learn how to reglaze a piece. By the end of the class, you should feel comfortable glazing your work.

Participants will learn:
- dipping techniques
- brush on glazing techniques
- reglazing process (glazing over a peice that is already glazed
- proper clean up of glaze on piece and in the glazing room
 
 

Materials:
  • PRE-REQUISITE: Bring two bisque fired pieces
  • Wax Resist
