Textured Tree

Handbuild a tree using a floral styrofoam cone. These decorative trees can be holiday or year round pieces to enjoy. Finishing techniques and glazing will be discussed, but done on participant own time.



Participants will learn:
- to apply deep texture to assure good glazing results
- to work with molds (styrofoam cone)


Materials:
- bring a floral styrofoam cone no larger than #9 (9 inches), smaller cones (#6) are good for first attempt at making the tree (can be purchased at Michaels)
- Texture tools (some are available in the club)
- handbulding tools
- mat
- stamps
