Alternative Firing Mini Lecture Series

Description:

This lecture series will explain Alternative Fire options in small increments.  Each lecture will give participants insights into the particular Alternative Firing method being covered that session.  The title of the lecture will indicate the subject of that day's lecture:  What is Raku/Horsehair?  What Is Saggar?  What is Obvara?  What is Naked Raku?  Pottery skills, techniques, terminology and/or processes will be covered along with safety rules.
Materials:

• Participants should bring a notebook.
