WORKROOM
Indulge In Our Space


Pottery wheels, tables for hand-building, flat rollers, forms, molds and extruders are here for members’ use. Colorful glazes await your flair. And our team will fire your work in our on-site kilns. Need clay or tools? Our supply store has what you need.

Everyone is welcome here — from beginner to advanced. All you need is a desire to learn and grow. We’ll teach you the basics of working with clay, glazing and firing. Then choose from a wealth of classes offered by experienced instructors to bring your ideas to life.

Succulent Containers

Craft decorative containers excellent for succulents. Learn to use soft slabs, apply deep textures, attach feet and plan for finishing and glazing on your own.

FUNDAMENTALS

Wheel One

Ready to try the wheel? Learn the fundamentals of centering and opening clay. This is the beginning of throwing forms on the potter’s wheel.

NATURAL WONDERS

Desert Landscape

Capture the beauty of the southwest landscape in a wall hanging made with clay slabs, textured layers, stains and your personal style.

Alternative Firing


We offer one of the few Alternative Firing opportunities available in the western suburbs. Elevate the possibilities with a Raku, Naked Raku, Obvara or Saggar firing.

All residents of The Grand — from beginner to artisan potters — are welcome to join and create their own possibilities with clay.
Club members create works of art using a variety of clays, glazes and firing techniques.

Members are encouraged to take classes, share their artwork to display and sell in our gallery & markets at The Grand.
