Leaf Bowl

Number of sessions:  Two 3-hour sessions

Description:
In this class students will create a bowl using leaves as a decorative design.  Leaves will be cut from a leaf pattern drawn by the student.  The type of leaves can vary and additional texture may be applied.  Once the bowl is bisque fired, students will utilize various stains to achieve the desired effect.

Materials:

• Clay, any white clay (B-Mix, B-Mix with Grog)
• Hand tools
• Plastic gloves to protect hands from stain
• Paint brushes to apply the stain
• Sponge to wipe the stain
