Description:
Make a large Luminary Pumpkin. It will make an excellent fall centerpiece, or outdoor lantern. 

Use a large template and balloons to create this luminary. You can decorate your luminary with artificial stems, leaves or create your add ons with clay. Glazing and finishing will be discussed but completed on own. 

Participants will learn:
- how to use templates to create forms
- use balloons to support your clay structure ( and how to remove prior to firing)
- create additive pieces like leaves and stems
- how to create the luminary with cut out 



Materials:
Clay of choice and basic clay tools. 
Artificial stems and leaves (if desired)

Instructor will provide templates and balloons.

Class Information: 

• Skill Level - Beginner with knowledge of scoring techniques, texturizing. 
• Number of Students - 3 Minimum  8 Maximum
