Intermediate Throwing - Beyond Center

Number of Sessions:      Three 3-hour sessions

Description:

Emphasis will be on creating well-formed cylinders which are the basis for creating forms on the wheel.  Class time focuses on developing skills.  It is process based, not product based.  The point of this three-week class is to refine your skills so that you can make quality wheel-thrown work when working on your own.

Materials:

• Basic throwing tools
• Clay of choice

Class Information:

• Skill Level:  Participants must have taken beginner throwing and be able to center clay proficiently
• Minimum Students:  3    Maximum Students:  5
