Number of Sessions: Two or three 3-hour sessions that meet for two weeks.

Description:

This class will focus on a variety of challenging projects that students would like to have some help in completing.  Participants will bring ideas, drawings and pictures to the first class.

A variety of techniques and "tricks" will be demonstrated throughout the classes. Students can expect help with construction, surface design, finishing techniques and a variety of stain and color options. Both throwing and hand-building skills will be included.

Inspiration will be included with the demos in the form of discussion and photos.  

Expect to work independently with some assistance from the instructor.

• Common clay tools
• Photos or sketches of desired project
• Some prior thinking about project
• Clay
